Lowcountry Male offers testosterone care through a regional clinic network. Its public pricing page is more detailed than a single starting-price advertisement: it lists injectable, oral and pellet plans alongside packages that add other treatments. The small insurance condition beneath several prices matters just as much as the large monthly figure.
We checked the official service and plan descriptions on October 13, 2026. These notes assess what is published and what still needs a written answer. We have not attended an appointment, tested the medication or measured the clinic's clinical outcomes or response times.
KEEP IN MIND
The useful bits.
- The advertised base TRT price has an insurance condition.
- The $199 introductory consultation is separate from the monthly plan.
- Cypionate is named, but the pharmacy and finished product need confirmation.
Start with the base plan and the qualifying condition
The TRT plan is listed at $220 per month with qualifying insurance. Its inclusion list names testosterone, injection supplies, prescription management, unlimited doctor visits, an InBody assessment and an estrogen-blocking medicine. The introductory consultation is separately advertised at $199, covering a physical examination, an InBody screening and a one-hour physician visit.
Do not treat $220 as a universal cash price. Ask which insurance requirement applies, what the practice bills to the insurer and what you owe if a claim is denied. Obtain a self-pay quote if necessary. The TRT cost and monitoring checklist helps keep the consultation, recurring plan and possible outside charges in separate lines.

The other plans describe different purchases
Lowcountry lists an oral Kyzatrex plan at $320 monthly with qualifying insurance and a pellet plan at $250 monthly. The latter describes three or four insertions per year. A TRT-and-ED package is shown at $320, while a TRT-and-peptide package is $520, also with insurance qualifications displayed.
These are not interchangeable prices for the same prescription. Ask why any additional medicine is being proposed and how the charge changes if you decline it. A bundled estrogen blocker should still have an individual clinical rationale; a menu entry does not prove it is necessary for every man receiving testosterone. Compare the care you actually need, not the number of items in the package.

Cypionate is named, but the actual product still matters
The clinic's homepage specifically mentions testosterone cypionate and hormone laboratory work. That supports including Lowcountry in an injectable-testosterone comparison. It does not identify the manufacturer, concentration, carrier ingredients or dispensing pharmacy for an individual prescription, nor does it establish the approval status of every product the clinic supplies.
Ask for the pharmacy label and whether the proposed preparation is an FDA-approved product or a compounded one. Our approved and compounded testosterone guide explains the distinction. Do not infer that a familiar ingredient name makes all formulations equivalent or use an online review to set an injection amount or schedule.

Diagnosis should come before the subscription
Lowcountry describes an initial assessment of health concerns and possible laboratory testing. The Endocrine Society's guideline recommends diagnosing hypogonadism from relevant symptoms together with consistently low testosterone, using repeat morning testing to confirm the result and evaluating the cause. A low-T quiz or one broad symptom list cannot perform that assessment.
Ask how the clinic handles an uncertain result, outside records or a finding that points to another cause. Our testing guide for readers over 50 explains why a careful evaluation can end with further investigation instead of a prescription. Establish the charges and next steps if treatment is not recommended.

Scrutinize the heart-health marketing
The homepage includes a claim about reducing heart-disease risk. We do not treat that marketing statement as a demonstrated benefit of Lowcountry's service. The FDA's 2025 testosterone labeling update removed the boxed-warning language about increased major cardiovascular outcomes after reviewing TRAVERSE, while also requiring blood-pressure warnings and retaining limitations around age-related use.
Removing a warning does not establish that testosterone prevents heart disease. Ask about blood pressure, hematocrit and the monitoring appropriate to your history. Discuss fertility before starting: the Endocrine Society recommends against testosterone therapy for men planning fertility in the near term. Those considerations belong in the initial visit, not only after a recurring plan has begun.

Make follow-up and cancellation practical
A regional office can make blood draws and face-to-face questions easier when the location fits your life. Confirm the actual address, who will see you, whether follow-up must be in person and what happens when you travel. The website's clinic list does not verify an available appointment or a nationwide telehealth service.
Request the contract length, cancellation deadline, refill process and coverage of repeat labs. For a different access model, read our Enhanced review. Lowcountry provides a useful published price menu, but the insurance condition and exact prescription are essential to a fair comparison. Keep a copy of the final quote and care responsibilities before agreeing to ongoing payments.
